ভাবি কোনো বিতর্কে জড়াবো না ;অথচ মাঝে মাঝে কিছু কিছু বিষয় এত জ্বালিয়ে মারে যে, বলে ফেলি। যাক বলেই ফেলি তাহলে!
এতদিনে একটা ব্যাপারে আমার fb বন্ধুরা নিশ্চয় মেনে নেবেন আমি fb এ টুকটাক গাইলেও, বৃহত্তর, পেশাদার সঙ্গীত জগতের সাথে আমার কোনো যোগাযোগ নেই। সুতরাং, কাউকে তুষ্ট করার, নিজের কোনো স্বার্থ সিদ্ধির প্রয়োজনে কারুর প্রশংসা করা আমার ধাতে নেই। যাঁদের সৃষ্টিশীলতা আমায় টানে, তাঁদের মন দিয়ে শুনি। এক্ষেত্রে আমার আবেগ নিয়ন্ত্রণ করি না। উচ্ছসিত প্রসংশা করি হৈহৈ করে। কে কি ভাবল সে তেয়াক্কা করি না।
বহু গুণী মানুষের সাথে fb এ পরিচয় হলেও তাঁদের কোনো ভাবে আমি কখনো বিরক্ত করি না।
তাঁদের position কে শ্রদ্ধা করি ও একটা সম্মানজনক দূরত্ব বজায় রাখি যাতে আমার সম্পর্কে কোনো বিরূপ ধারণা তৈরী না হয়।
এবার আমার বিরক্তিটা নিয়ে বলি আসল কথা।
"তা হ্যাঁ গা! পচ্চিম বঙ্গে কি জাত SITARISTS দের অভাব পড়েছে???? " "খরা চলছে?? "
সেতার শিল্প তো অভাবনীয় সুজলা সুফলা শষ্য শ্যামলা হয়ে তার জয়ধ্বজা উড়িয়ে টগবগিয়ে চলেছে।
আমার কানে তো দিব্যি প্রবেশ করছে বর্তমানের, এই প্রজন্মের কিছু অসাধারন শিল্পীর আলাপ, জোড় , ঝালা, বিদ্যুৎ বেগের নিখুঁত তানকারি, লয়কারি।
মুগ্ধতার কবলে পড়ছি বারবার তাঁদের বাজনা শুনে।
আমি একজন সাধারণ শ্রোতা, তার কানে গেলে, এই বঙ্গের সব জহুরি ক্যালাসিক্যাল উদ্যোক্তাদের কানে সে মূর্ছনা পৌছয় না!!!

যদিও আমি অনেক ছোট থেকেই এই শিল্পী বাছাই এর BOARD, PANELS এগুলো সম্বন্ধে THOUGHT LESS ABOUT THE JUDGES
এই প্রজন্মের এই মাপের সিতারিস্টরা নিজের ঘরে ব্রাত্য হয়ে থাকবেন???
জাতের মেহফিলে বাজানোর সুযোগ থেকে বঞ্চিত হবেন??
ক্ষমা করবেন, যাঁদের নাম করছি তাঁদের কারো সাথে আমার কোনো ব্যক্তিগত পরিচয় নেই ----কিন্তু শ্রোতা হিসাবে নাম না বলাটা অপরাধ হবে,
সাহানা ব্যানার্জ্জী, রামপ্রপন্ন ভট্টাচার্য্য,Sitar Sam, সৌরভব্রত (সুরবাহার ধ্রুপদ), সুপ্রতীক সেনগুপ্ত এবং আরও দুতিন জন যাঁদের নাম আমার মনে না পড়ায় আমি ক্ষমাপ্রার্থী।
এনারা প্রত্যেকেই যেকোনো সর্বোত্তম MUSIC কনফারেন্স আলোকিত করার ক্ষেত্রে বিবেচিত না হলে তা বঙ্গের উচ্চাঙ্গসংগীতের পক্ষে অবমাননাকর, হাস্যকর, UTTERLY NONSENSE AND RIDICULOUS
ক্ষতি টা কোথায় হচ্ছে??
সে টা হচ্ছে শ্রোতাদের, ভারী, গভীরতা সম্পন্ন উচ্চাঙ্গ সংগীত হারিয়ে যাচ্ছে, জাতের শ্রোতা তৈরী হচ্ছে না, হালকা, লঘু compositions গিলে নিচ্ছে শ্রোতাদের। শ্রোতাদের মনোরঞ্জনের পাশাপাশি শিল্পীদের এক গুরু দায়িত্ব গভীরতাকেও চেনানো। এ ক্ষেত্রে শিল্পীরা চেষ্টা করেও অসফল হচ্ছেন, কারণ তাঁরা বৃহত্তর শ্রোতৃবর্গ থেকে বঞ্চিত হচ্ছেন।
ভাগ্যিস এ ক্ষেত্রে ও fb ছিল, না হলে আমিও তো এনাদের Superbly improvised rendition এর সাথে স্বল্প পরিচিতিও লাভ করতাম না।
আপনাদের হাত ধরে এগিয়ে চলুক সেতারের মূর্ছনার স্বর্গীয় অনুভুতির রেশ।

I apologize for not reminding me of the names of Sahana Banerjee, Ramprapanna Bhattacharya, Sitar Sam, Sourabhabrata (Surbahar Dhrupad), Supratik Sengupta and two others.
If each of them are not considered to light any best MUSIC Conference it is abusive to Bengal classical music, hilarious, UTTERLY NONSENSE AND RIDICULOUS Where is the damage happening??
That's the audience, heavy, deep classical music losing, race listeners not being produced, light, small compositions swallowing the audience. Besides entertaining the audience, one of the artists is to know the depths. In this case, artists are failing even after trying, because they are deprived of the greater audience.
